Doula is a greek word for a female servant. As a doula, I serve women and their partners by providing a caring, nuturing and informative presence at their birthing time.  I also act as an advocate to interpret information from caregivers and help moms and their partners express their wishes. During labor, I employ several comfort measures such as accupressure, aromatherapy, rebozos, and help with positioing.

I am also trained as a hypno doula through HypnoBabies.
