About Me
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Buck, for over 9 years. We have lived in Garner for 9 years as well. Our son Ian was born in 2004 at a local hospital. I was induced and received the "cascade of interventions" that often accompanies inductions. After much processing and thinking about my birth I realized that I wished I would have had the support of someone knowledgable, caring, and informed by my side. I realized that every woman deserves that support during this special time in their life. It was then that I decided to become a doula, so that I could provide the care, information and knowledge to women during their birthing time and beyond.
